How the score works.
Eight dimensions, each scored 0–10. Two of them — photo recency and walkable tour presence — carry 1.5× weight because they're the highest-leverage signals you can move this week with one upload and one paste. The other six carry 1× weight. The composite converts to a letter grade: 90+ A, 80+ B, 70+ C, 60+ D, below 60 F.
Why these eight dimensions.
Google publishes three core local-pack ranking factors in their Help Center: proximity, relevance, and prominence. The eight dimensions in this tool are the observable signals that feed into those three — completeness, category accuracy, photo recency, photo count, post cadence, response rate, NAP consistency, and tour-or-360 presence. Google doesn't publish exact weights, so the weights here reflect documented strength of signal in their own help docs and in well-known studies from BrightLocal, Moz, and Whitespark.
Why we don't auto-fetch your profile.
Most "free Google Business Profile audit" tools either fake the scrape (asking you to paste the answers in a UI that pretends to read your profile) or gate the score behind an email signup. This tool does neither. You open your real Google Business Profile in another tab, you score each dimension as you see it, the calculator does the math. It takes 5 minutes and zero compromises.
How is the Google Business Profile Score calculated?
Eight dimensions are graded 0–10. Each dimension's weight reflects how strongly Google's published documentation names it as a ranking or engagement factor. The two highest-leverage dimensions — photo recency and walkable tour presence — carry 1.5× weight. The composite is converted to a letter grade: 90+ A, 80+ B, 70+ C, 60+ D, below 60 F.
Why don't you fetch my profile automatically?
Because pretending to scrape Google in a browser tab is dishonest. Most free Google Business Profile audit tools either fake the scrape or gate the result behind an email signup. This tool walks you through your real profile in another tab, you score each dimension as you see it, and the calculator does the math. Takes 5 minutes, no signup, no fake AI.
Are the eight dimensions real ranking factors?
Google's public Help Center documents name proximity, relevance, and prominence as the three core local-pack ranking factors. The eight dimensions in this tool are observable signals that feed into those three — completeness, category accuracy, photo recency, post cadence, response rate, NAP consistency, photo count, and walkable tour or 360 presence.
Can I share the score?
Yes. The Print Results button opens a clean one-page printable summary you can hand to a partner, a VA, or a marketing contractor — with the fix-list pre-prioritized. No email signup required to print.
Do you store my score?
No. The entire audit runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, nothing is saved, nothing is shared. Close the tab and the audit is gone.
